Samantha ran forwards still yelling for help as she saw the kitchen ahead and ran for it not noticing as Martha stepped into her way and yelped in surprise at the intruder who snagged her by the paw and dragged her into the kitchen ,her husband Larry came hopping unsteadily around the corner and started to push her into the kitchen imploring her to hurry.
scrambling into the kitchen Larry turned and wobbled up onto his tail as his feet slammed into the door holding it in place as he called for the two to run, but to his dismay he realized he and his wife would not be fitting through their kitchen window.
then it was from the hallway that the bellowing call of "play!" echoed through the door as whatever was outside proceeded to start knocking the door out of the frame.
