What is Happiness?
Happiness is waking up and forgetting there is a pain in your body that will be there the rest of your life. Staring into the mirror and for a brief moment seeing the individual in the reflection staring right back. Noticing a light post on the street corner you never knew was there all along. Drawing a smiley face on your paperwork and never knowing who saw it at the end of the day. Happiness is going to sleep and hoping tomorrow you will forget it all again.

An endless pursuit toward every little moment beneath the grey sky, hoping the next can help you forget the past and how you will never be there again.
A sudden and cool breeze during a hot day, acting as a reminder that everything can change.
Buying a pen when you already have so many...

I would have to disagree. personally, that is the kind of description of what I acknowledge the opposite of happiness to be. that's rather miserable. I find that welcoming all the pain, and doubt, and fear, and meaninglessness, and dread, and all of it.... is truly happiness. because happiness is being truly ok with all of that.
