In honor of votering season, I thought I'd put up these idea sketches for generic election signage that I'd submitted at work. Not fall-on-the-floor funny, but I still kinda liked 'em.

Third party voting is viable in local elections. Not so much on federal level, due to the antiquated and problematic way American elections work. Better solution is to do as the Tea Party did and start agitating for your political beliefs and goals within one of the two major existing parties.
All these campaign ads, billboards, posters really comes out to a 'who has the biggest budget for campaign financing' contest.
Change the 'L' to an 'R' in the title and you're closer to the truth.
No watch as I prepare for potential self immolation in the insuring flame-war by saying I always vote Democrat. Both parties are flawed and neither are perfect, but I prefer the stand the Democrats take for the most part. If anyone complains our system isn't working that's because when we have a Republican present if Congress is mostly Democrat they stonewall everything he tries to do and vice versa.

One of the classics from the pre-YouTube internet, something that should be reviewed every election season:

One of the biggest myths the political machine has managed to foist onto the American public is that there's an actual difference between "Bend over and grab your ankles, now!" and "Bend over and grab your ankles, please."
People who look at you funny for not voting are drinking the Kool-Aid.

I often wonder the same here.
actually if german parties would work like they swore to do after each election, and also never promise what they haven't worked out into usefulness beforehand (so they won't have to admit it's not possible to do so), all we'd have to care about would be their political directive. because they all would work for the best of people and country.
needless to say, they don't. even those who try to be different either give up (Piraten), or become corrupted (Die Grünen). our current hopes lie on AfD (Alternative für Deutschland). the established parties try to push them into the right wing, but there is more to that than just brown minds. granted, some ideas are a bit radical, but there.
meanwhile, the italians let their project run out that saved thousands of shipwrecked refugees in the middle sea, somethign that cost them 9-11milion euros a day... now the EU takes over and aims to close the border already. of course we can't take them all in, but we also can't just sit there and watch them die like that.
and then these goons in Brussels wonder why we hate them.

Don't worry, I think even you with all that are better than us.
Only go back on time 6 months and read the amount of money the U.S. Congress took from the Bank Accounts of Venezuelan Parliament President Diosdado Cabello. More than 700.000.000 USD, and he said less than one month ago what that was NOTHING compared with his Bank Accounts at Switzerland, Spain, Germany and Russia.
And we're talking about one of the 17 Venezuelan personalities what U.S. Congress decided to close all their accounts at U.S. and take for them the money.

most middle american countries never raise an eyebrow here in middle europe. many here barely know that Belize or Nicaragua are not african countries indeed...
the mexican war on drugs actually made a lot of fuzz with police catching protesters to have them murdered and disposed by drug gangs.
aw man, so much violence, again. I hope your country can go back to normal soon!

Heh, don't worry. Yesterday begun a massive campaign for apply an special payment to the SENIAT (the entity here what moderates the fiscal income) what consists in a help to PSUV giving 2% of your annual income to the party.
Yeah, I don't hope anyone to know this... I see Euronews daily and meanwhile we are with that they talk about Kobani, about the elections at Donetsk and Lugansk and that. I'm not saying what that's irrelevant... I'm saying what Europe forgot us :/

Meanwhile I'm not American, my half-sister is, and she agrees with all of you. It's almost an election about "Who has more money for campaign" than "Who is going to do something useful for U.S."
In a way, this one is very, and I mean VERY applicable to the Parliamentarian Elections what are going to take place on December 2015 here at Venezuela. In the past Parliamentarian Elections, only the PSUV (Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela - United Socialist (Party?) of Venezuela) spent 4.000.000.000 VEF in political campaign, and for make you understand better, as we have 4 different prices for VEF-USD, 4.000.000.000 was a little more than 8% of the International Reserves in gold of the country, or is equivalent to 5.5% of the Public Debt of U.S.
I'll let you imagine. And that numbers were given by U.S. Federal Reserve, in a open letter they sent to the Venezuelan Ambassador at U.S.

You might get a laugh at this then.

when I was in school, we got a new teacher. he used to teach stuff at a colombian school near Bogotà. and he travelled the countryside a lot. he showed us a vote ad telling people to vote for "Hitler Fernandez"... I guess the old nazis who fled to latin america were good liars.
My buddy Grumpy Bob had the right motto: "Don't Reelect Anybody!" With Connecticut's Gubernatorial (the word comes from the Latin, goober, peanut, and nativitas, to give birth) election around the corner, we have the choice of the rabidly anti-gun incumbent or his vapid Plutocrat opponent. I'm taking my Mom's advice (from the 1968 Nixon / Humphrey Presidential race) to "Hold your nose and vote for the lesser of two evils." It's the NRA vote this year.
