Aaand... a head shot of the wolfess avatar. Because... I can. ^.^
Her eyes were killing me to get them right. And I'll still be doing some fine tuning on them before release, I guess.
Unedited Second Life screen shot.

very very impressive. keep up the great work. ^^
i have a question, as i've not seen your avs in SL myself yet. but are the eyes scripted to blink or follow or anything like that...and if so how are you doing it? are the eyes actually seperate objects from the head itself and can there for have different textures applied as they change?

The eyes are separate objects that are attached to the avatar eyes, so they move like the original avatar eyes do. The male wolf blinks, the female does not, because her eyes are much more complex than her male counterpart's. SL can't animate complex multi-object structures smoothly (like eyes with modeled eyelashes). Therefore, she'll get different eye phases that you can choose from (open, as shown here, half-closed "sexy" eyes and closed eyes).
ahh i gotchya.i forgot you could actually attach to the eyes. i will have to play with that one :P and the eye phases sound like a neat idea, might have to incorporate those into the male too. i also take it that bump mapping the eyelashes doesnt work...so that the eyelashes and eye ball would be one object? (i havent tried this myself...only read about it)
I haven't decided on a price yet. My avatars will probably be a bit more expensive than the average price point for furry avatars - if only to make up for that one Wacom that I worn out on the textures (I kid you not)
They will be available at
tinintri 's AnthroXtacy.

xD I know exactly where Tin Tins AX is at and yes, I can tell you spent a lot of time on them... it wouldn't surprise me if you wore out your tablet.. though hopefully Wacoms aren't bad cause I got one and the pen already kinda fell apart on me.. Oh well. I will be looking for them!!
