This spring of ours
Clouded by mud, rocks, and silt
We can scarcely remember
How the water glistened in the sun
I threw these rocks
Carelessly and without though
But given enough time
The rocks will be still, and look just like the others
The silt will settle, adding to the river bed
And the murk will be chased away, by the dedicated currents
To be forgotten
But forgiven?
That is not for me to say
All I can do, is watch time pass by
Waiting
For a sparkling mountain spring
