I'm just getting into GB dev been messing about with GBDK and know nothing of asm yet. I do have Rednex Game Boy Development System though just encase I ever plan to learn ASM I mostly use it to fix up broken headers etc making use of rgbfix. The biggest issue with GB dev is the working with tiles and making the most of the platform. I make use of an Everdrive GB for my homebrew. So far I mostly have the bare basics no sound etc. I have an ASCII art title scree with a press start prompt that tuns the screen off loads the tiles then turns the screen back on.
