The daimyou, performer and warrior.
Head of the Monkey Clan
She has probably many other clothes as well because she likes to dress up a LOT (she will make me work a looot, I already see that). But these are her basic garments.
For the daimyou outfit pattern you probably don't see but I added hills on her sleeves. It's meant to represent her land because the Monkey have quite a distinguished pointy kind of mountains, the kind you see in Chinese paintings. It's beautiful but on the downside they don't have much to grow rice (or anything else). I will elaborate this more in the story because it does have a significance. ^^
Anyway, the clouds on the hakama (trousers) shows just the same: way up above the clouds". Altogether it just represents her love for her land. Originally she had kind of firey patterns to show her temper and such but when I saw that pattern I realized this fits even more, it's really a big part of her character. =)
Her daimyou outfit is actually a bit funny if you know the dressing codes. She wears furisode (long sleeved kimono) for her kamoshimo (the edo style hakama+kataginu). Furisude is for unmarried YOUNG women (she is 25, way over the age to wear this XP) and totally a girly outfit, not meant to mix it with samurai outfit. But she is like "I am the daimyou, I do what I want." also "Screw the fashion I make my own". :D
But outside the Monkey Clan she is looked down for many things and her taste in clothes is one of them.
