Suddenly, Juno looked around. Something was different. Everything surrounding him in his home was gone, no longer there. What surrounded him now was a mountainous terrain covered with snow, and above him was a clear, blue sky. It was cold all around him, with temperatures below freezing.
"Wha -- where am I?" he wondered aloud, looking back and forth rapidly. "Last time I remember, I was in my house."
Seconds later, a voice replied from behind him, "You are on the Aron Mountains in Aterea."
Juno turned, and then, he saw him.
It was a tall, dark-skinned man. He had short, black hair set in dreads, very visible muscle mass, a red loincloth, and purple epaulets hanging off his shoulders. He stood at a great height above the dragon, with stern, yet welcoming eyes and full lips, a calm expression on his face.
"Welcome to Aterea," the man said. "What is your name?"
"Oh, hi there," Juno said. "I'm Juno."
The man looked at the dragon in great curiosity, tilting his head to one side. "Tell me, Juno," he said. "Why are you here?"
"I don't know," the dragon replied with a shrug. "I just kinda appeared here." He then shivered a bit as he felt the cold, biting mountain air on his scales. "Gosh, I would love to go somewhere warm."
The man smiled and gestured toward a mountain path behind him. "Come with me," he offered. "I'll take you to my village."
"Great! Thanks!" Juno said happily, glad to hear of a chance to get out of the cold. . . .
