A belated Birthday gift for my dear friend  shadowedlullaby. She celebrated her Birthday earlier this month, and while I had hoped to finish this piece in time for her, I had a little difficulty getting there. But, I hope that I can make up for that now!

What can I say here that I haven't already said? You're someone I can count on, even when you're in the midst of your own crises. You're never cruel, unless you're being funny, and you're always genuine, unless you're planning on surprising me. I have to say that people like you are far and few between. I thank my lucky stars for the day you were born, because without you my life wouldn't be as rich. Without your love, laughter and light where in the world would I be? I do not want to know, ha ha! On your Birthday, my wish for you is for you to achieve your dreams no matter how much you doubt yourself. You do that far too often. I believe in everything you set out to do, and I will always be here to support your decisions with the same sincerity you support mine.

Thank you so much for your being a part of my life! Here's to another amazing year with -hopefully- fewer bathroom floods!
