I heard my dog going crazy outside, so I knew something was up. I knew it was either a raccoon or a skunk, so I loaded my rifle and headed outside to check it out.
Fortunately for this little bugger, he (and all the others) were not on my property but were on my neighbor's grounds. Thus, I decided to do a little photo-shooting instead.
I only got about 3 semi-good pictures out of about 12-15 that I took: would have gotten more but I was taking these pictures in pitch-black (camera has good flash, no?) while standing on the top step of a stool, leaning over a fence (and there was some threatening growling coming from somewhere nearby... check out the other pics to see who it was). Made for real tricky snapshots. I'll upload a few to scraps, too.
This little sucker was one of 4+ raccoons in the tree. He's pretty small in terms of raccoon-size; not yet fully grown but not exactly a pup either. Rather cute, if I may say so myself.
