This is part one of a ten-part RP story I did with 
Tarrenger. We actually did it way back in May, but I told him I had a lot of stories from other people I needed to put up -- ones that came much earlier in the timeline of my heroes -- before I could officially put this one up. This story stars my eight main heroes, the Keepers -- Storm, my protagonist, Jobe, my deuteragonist, Michel, my primary tritagonist, Jabu, Vyk, my secondary tritagonist, Nalan, Arlo, and Ryth -- as well as his character, Hige. It also introduces three other characters of his -- his cat character, Catherine, his otter character, Calleb (who has no art to link to), and his deer character, Noah (who also has no art to link to). And it features the third battle with his kitsune villains, Arrow and Blaze.
In this first part, Arrow and Blaze, unknowingly with help from the Keepers' archenemy, Jyn (who does not appear, but he granted them this aid at the end of mine and
EricStripe's "War of the Dead" story), escape from their prison immediately upon the arrival of their 800th birthday and set their sights on taking revenge on the Keepers and Hige, whose shrine they pursue immediately to steal something very important from it. Later, Hige, who is injured in their attack, seeks out Vyk, who is still thinking of his recuperating boyfriend, Agua, and Nalan, for their and the other Keepers' help in dealing with the evil kitsune, this time in his world. It seems that the Keepers' third conflict with the sinister foxes is about to begin. . . .
