Sometime in the last week I drew a quick sketch in paint when photoshop was acting up, then I realized the anatomy was awful. I still liked the pose so I drew a rough skeleton over in when PS was usable again, then I just sort of remembered skeletons are really fun. I'm maybe not the best at them but they're neat to mess with. Right now some known issues include head is too big, "feet" are too long, legs are probably too thin, I feel like the spine is probably too curved, I'm still not friends with drawing arm and hand positions. So this is pretty rough haha. It's all pretty loose and quickly done at this point. I kind of really want to do a more refined version now though. It'd be interesting to do a skeleton for the kind of wolf-thing Ava and Shadowfire and several of the others too, because their anatomy should be a little different. And then maybe skeletons for other things. Skeletons are fun.
I'll have to figure out what the formerly broken bones look like too. There's just a slightly more scribbly spot on the ribs for now (lower left side), but the spot on his leg is probably more accurate. It's weird because a piece actually got blown off whereas the other were just broken. I wouldn't be surprised if he's had a few other fractures and things in the past, but these obviously had the most lingering effects. Also I tried to figure out where the bullet is. Because he's had a bullet somewhere in his back for the past 34 years or so. Good going, Rook. So that's what that scribbly dot is.
Also, this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDKKKpeFO_M Obligatory, really.
