I don't think having extra eyes and moth drawn-on is all that necessary... the hood looks really good featureless, and the try here with the button eyes is all sorts of uncanny valley material.
You'd need to experiment with a large number of different eye shapes and styles to maybe find something that fits. Definitely larger than these though.
