
So, that's the coloured free sketch my friend Silberwolf won for the 1,000st pageview. It's my first wolf without using references, so please be kind ;)
It'll take quite a while for me to combine all the things I learn, at the moment I'm quite happy that the paws I draw don't suck like they did two months ago and that I was able to get to learn some new tools and techniques, too.
To be honest - this was fun to do, I know all the flaws, I know it's fastly and sketchy done, but somehow I'm satisfied as I learned something and know that I'm improving, slowly, but constantly.
If you wonder why the wolf looks so huge - well, he is. He normally overtowers an average biped male, so in fact he's "small" in this picture with around 1.3 m withers height.
