Yep... he had it bad.
Just spending time with the lady of your dreams is far more satisfying than any number of one night stands which only leave you lonely in the morning.
Of course, her dreams could be indicating a newfound awareness of sexuality, or it could mean that as much as Kain turns her on, her heart lies with Teffy.
I'm not cheering for anyone at this point, I'm just curious to see how the story unfolds.

*laughs* one of my friends had chosen a fav of the bat.
Thanks for your interpretation. >^.^< i'll let you read on and figure things out for yourself- its more fun than telling you if you're right or wrong.
I will say that the dream was a fantasy- take that as you will.
Glad i have your curiousity. Think a lot of people would enjoy reading this- i plan to hopefully maybe publish this someday- so give me any advice you can on the story to improve it (i already plan to go through and space it out a bit and make it a little less harried- i feel like its a little rushed)

If you have posted the story, in it's entirety, you cannot publish it.
One of the leagl quirks of the system is that by posting a story in it's entirety on a website under your name or psudonym, you have effectively self-published your story, and no publisher is allowed, by law, to touch it.
This doesn't mean you're a published author, it means you screwed yourself out of being able to publish it.
So if you plan to actually publish it, you cannot continue posting it on this website. Sad, but true.

Quoting from 'How to be a Writer' by P.N.Elrod:
"Do not post your novel on the Internet.
It feeds the ego, but a publisher wont buy it when they know youve given it away already. If you want feedback, look for a good on-line writers group and post only those short portions of the story you want help on."
In general, if it can be found by Google, and it looks like you're just posting your novel on line, publishers won't touch it with a ten foot polecat.
Also keep in mind that the world of publishing is extremly tight-knit, so make every attempt to avoid pissing one off, or they'll all blackball you and you'll never get published.
I'm not a published author. I probably never will be. I don't want to go through all the hoops and junk it takes to become one. If you do, I *HIGHLY* recomend you go find a writer's convention (often, they're sci-fi writers conventions, and I've heard of writer's workshops at Furry conventions as well), and ask the published authors. If there's a workshop, take it! That's the perfect venue to get more information. Nearly always, a writer's workshop is run by a professional writer, so they can answer all the really important questions, such as avoiding common pitfalls (like trying to publish a story already posted on line).

If you're talking about vanity publishers or on-line publishers, that's a BIG no-no as far as official authordom is concerned.
TRUST ME... once you've been published by the pay-for-publish people, none of the other publishers will ever touch your work.
Just remember... you're the author. You get the money. You never have to pay to get a book published. If someone asks you for ANY money AT ALL, they're running a scam or a vanity publishing house.

Awwww, well even if big bad Kain is a softie on the inside, I'm certain that he's not the one for Kitten. *waves a "Teffy" flag*
Love is so complicated - never more so than in this marvellous story of yours, but that's what makes it interesting. Of course the yiff is great too. =^0^= <3

its interesting what different people see in this story. Some people, like clyde will wait it out- not sure who will "win", at the same time some people like you and bellsab pick out Teffy and see reasons why Kain shouldn't get her. hmmm Makes me wonder.
Anyway- glad you're still enjoying it!

=] Awwwww. What a cute date!!
Hmm I think I might be the only one rooting for Kain, hah, xD I guess I have a thing for bad boys. He needs Kitten to be a better person. D< Although I do like Teffy too, he's sweet and nice and there for Kitten. Ahh I don't know who to choose. xDDD
