Little wind-up wipers.

My general thought is the goggles are for small explosion, and oil.

I do. I even have a gold tooth so I can feel a bit more like a pirate.

Dzhani is actually an airship trader captain. Granted, she flies a former pirate ship, which she captured. She also alpha-cani'd most of it's crew. She has lots of charisma.

It is. Her charisma is huge, and her magerium is symmetrical.

She dominated them with threats, family connections, knowledge of the prevailing laws, and a couple big herethoy warriors. She got the crew to surrender to her and mutiny against their captain.
