McCartney wrote a song called "Alligator"?! Geez, how did I let that one get past me? I'll have to add it to my playlist of gator songs - Bowie's "Moonage Daydream" ("I'm an alligator") and Steve Miller Band's "Kow Kow:"

Oh my... this is wonderful!!! And I agree with 
SSJ3Mewtwo those ridges down a gator's back and onto his tail are one of the animal's features that really appeals to me.
