When my father saw this he put it on and pointed to his crotch asking, "How about some Panda Express?"
That was after I picked this title too...
My first completed commission. It took about a week and it was difficult, commiserating work. But I'm glad I did it. :D
I managed to attach a bill to the hat too, just as they requested! :D It was my first time and I didn't really have any help on that part. (: Sadly it's not perfectly center, but I like that he said it was uniquely hand-made... so I don't feel as bad about it. 8D

Oooh! I thought about using colors, but they wanted black and white. 8D Pink panda would've been cute too. :D
I used illustrator board for it - it's like harder poster board, but it's not as thick or light as cardboard. It bends nice and easy for this without being stuck one way or the other, or breaking. :3

Hehe, I actually meant these critters: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_panda :3
That sounds like a good choice of material to me. Is it still washable? ^^

Ahaha, woops! An actual red panda you meant! :3 I think it'd be fun trying something more complex like that! (: They look adoooowable!
I don't know, but I think of all the materials I could have used, it's one of the few that'd have a good chance lasting through something like that. (: But then again, I'm not even sure if the felt I use is washable. A friend of mine washed something of hers that had felt ears on it and it turned out fine, she just didn't put in the drier because it might have shrunk. :B
