Another thing I noticed was the good proportions of the right arm. The wrist usually reaches the crotch, but it's hard to measure that with the arm raised. Did you use a compass or some other measurement too or something else?

No, I didn't use a compass or any tricks for proportions, I mostly eyeball it, or use references or 3D models when I need to be more precise ^^
