Was fun to play with a slightly more traditional watercolour style for this one. There are a few things that bug me, but overall I think this worked out fairly well.
Apologies for the google-translate title. I hope it's not too painful for anyone who actually speaks the language. x3

I thought you hated drawing complex outdoor backgrounds?
I must say well done. Very nice level of detail and the coloring seems to be spot on. What a cute piece of art a Ru made today!
I have to ask.. Whats the black dot in the window? A furry pet watching the two cuddle beside the frozen pond?
(Insert stereotyped wolf comment about what this image needs more of here due to general audience rating).

That's just part of the bushes... didn't get white paint on it like I probably should have.
I like doing natural outdoor backgrounds. It's the man made stuff that really causes me problems. Anything where I have to worry about straight lines and perspective, basically. x3

No, the title is spot on actually. It translates to "Winter love" and it definitely reads like an expression a Swede would use as we have the idea of "vårkärlek" (Spring love), that is, the sorta giddy crushes you tend to develop in the spring when everything gets brighter and "vinterkärlek" would be the logical opposite of that, a relationship developed during winter that's more mellow and intimate.
I wouldn't want to do anything like that until I was a lot more consistent in my drawing ability. As it is I still make silly mistakes and struggle with things I probably shouldn't, heh. Even then I'm not so sure, I kinda like just working for myself, it's pretty simple that way. x3
Also have I thought about a poem.
What cannot be seen is called evanescent;
What cannot be heard is called rarefied;
What cannot be touched is called minute.
These three cannot be fathomed
And so they are confused and looked upon as one.
Its upper part is not dazzling;
Its lower part is not obscure.
Dimly visible, it cannot be named
And returns to that which is without substance.
This is called the shape that has no shape,
The image that is without substance.
This is called indistinct and shadowy.
Go up to it and you will not see its head;
Follow behind it and you will not see its rear.
Hold fast to the way of antiquity
In order to keep in control the realm of today.
The ability to know the beginning of antiquity
Is called the thread running through the way.
There is no porn!!
Jk! Looks wounderfull Ru. I really love how you did draw this one. It's very relaxing to rest your eyes on. Every color is spot on and the way you did draw the trees and the pond is just great. And two very cute characters. All looks like a well made xmas card. And being a swede i of course love the title *wags*
