Doods, you should definitively be asking him to marry you :3 3 years is a milestone most never get to, and you don't need a ring-ring to symbolize your coupling :3 Although... it actually might be better to simply not apply for a legal one, because that just brings up a whole mess of paperwork, legal work, fees and taxes, higher rates of insurance... Best to make claim and show your symbolism, and if you two really think you two want it, and think you two will work through thick an thin, for life... get some tattoo wedding rings :3 much more symbolic than using easily pliable metal, which is desired by thieves and crooks, and better than a carbon[diamonds(truly worthless)] stone.

Oh gosh, I am so sorry for the confusion! I didn't want to make folks think it was a third wedding anniversary! We actually just got married this past August, a small weekend long party of feasting and games in the mountains and an exchange of meteorite rings.
