Result of the latest Livestream session! I've just about finished the leg padding on Sonar's bodysuit. Extraordinarily happy with the shape so far- digitigrade legs are my absolute favorite thing to build on a suit because they really change the look dramatically and are one of the hardest things to nail in a costume project. I like the challenge and I cannot wait to be able to test-fit them! I just don't want to take it off the dummy form until I'm 100% happy with it. Video to come this week.
Otherwise, here's a quick vine turnaround: https://t.co/HO4Hri2Dpq

I'll have to see how these turn out when they're furred, they look fantastic!
I tried my one and only pair of digitigrade legs like this and they turned out terrible. No shape, the feet looked like blobs. Eww xD but i can already see some differences in yours from mine that makes them look so much better so I'm really interested in seeing them done!
Though, are the feet built on a shoe? And how would you go about cleaning these with the foam attached? So many questions arrg. But they really are stunning!!

Yeah, I hope they'll look as nice in the final fur layer ^^;
Digitigrade isn't easy, that's for sure! I hope you'll get a good pair built one day. They're a lot of fun to wear.
Yes these are built on a pair of Crocs. I will be wearing a diveskin underneath the whole suit to minimize the need to clean the leg padding layers. But when I do, I can throw the whole thing into the tub for hand washing and leave it in front of a fan to make sure the foam dries out. In the future I want to replace it with reticulated foam to make this even easier, but I'm on a budget with my personal suit XD

I think it might help if you smooth out the difference with the side of the butt padding and thigh padding so, there isn't a visible difference seen in the suit. Also, I would add some bulk to the outside of the toes, thighs, and butt padding to round it out and smooth it down.
I really think this is amazing BTW!
Good job!

Wow, this is so amazing! Looking good as usual!
Um, question, what do you use to stick the foam to the leggings? Is it a specific type of glue, or something? Like, uh, spray glue, or just regular hot glue? Thanks.
You know what, maybe I'm just over thinking it. XD
Anyways, once again, your crafting skills are fantastic!
