Finally I am done with this coloring. I started coloring this picture nearly two months ago and was kept busy either by my temporary loss of my computer, or getting my new drawings and requests cleaned and done with. This is my latest masterpiece of drawing and coloring and I love how it turned out. Also ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14349702/ ) is the line art of this picture. ^\/^.

The background is entirely done digital. The pattern in the background was taken from my Design Collection 1 in my scraps ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5772261/ ) and repeated over and over and then altered to match the perspective. The outside is from a free to use photograph of a sunset and the panes of glass was an adventure to make just right using patterns and effects. ^\/^.

In the life of a lordson (son of a lord or other noble), one must always attain the highest virtues of whatever work the noble family in question provides. In the case of Domineus Dan, first and only son of Lord Dephensor Dan, the work provided is military, specifically the knight class. With Lord Dephensor Dan being the top general to the queen and leader of the armed forces, Domineus Dan is the highest ranking lordson of the knight class of the noble families in the realm. As such, expectations are higher for him than most.

To attain the highest virtues in a knight class of nobles, one must be of Body and Mind. In short, to be a great fighter, on must balance their abilities. The rules are as follows:

Be as skilled in learning as one is skilled in combat.
Be as swift as one is strong.
Be as flexible as one is firm.
Be as graceful as one is gritty.
Be as willing as one is indomitable.
Be as tact as one is assertive.
Be as patient as one is resolute.
Be as learned in art as one is learned in science.
Be as well dressed for court as one is for battle.

In the picture above, I intended to draw my character portraying much of what is shown in the rules above. For example, being one of the strongest and most skilled fighters in the realm, he is also one of the swiftest in fighters and also one most highly educated. Also, he is a master at playing the harpsichord and excels in the science of computers. And his skills in metallurgy and smithing have made some of the finest armors and weapons (knights are expected to produce their own stuff half the time). Domineus Dan is also a skilled tailor, making and knitting splendid capes and chain mail alike. ^\/^.

Domineus Dan is from an extremely wealthy and important noble family with wealth made from various sources from the various companies his companies that his family owns (from communications, electronics, banking, stocks, trade, farming and weapons design and manufacturing), his fathers position as general of the countries armed forces as well as literally several thousand years of accumulated wealth his family has accumulated and saved as plying their trade as nobles. An example of Domineus Dan's personal wealth is shown in the room he is in at the moment. ^\/^.

The room Domineus Dan is in is his private reading room in his personal wing of the family manor of Dantehum Manor called the Jade Emerald Reading Room. The reason it is called as such is because the walls are paneled with solid jade. Also, the roof is studded with emeralds. the wall behind Domineus Dan are pull out cabinets that hold scrolls and books. The doors to the cabinets are made of solid jade, a different kind of jade that the walls are made of, and are highly cut and decorated. The window sills and the inlaid columns are also made of jade. The baseboard separating the walls and the floor is made of highly polished dark blue marble. The floor is made of a carpet of finely hand made green silk.

The chair Domineus Dan is sitting on is made of twelve different kinds of wood and is gilded with solid platinum plated with gold from the ends of the arm rests, the sides of the foot rest and the Adlerian script on all four sides of the chair depicting an ancient Adlerian short story on virtue. The cushions of the seat, arm rest and foot rest is made of silk and velvet and dyed in the color of royal sapphire blue.

The armor Domineus Dan is wearing is made entirely by his hand using metal alloys of his own design. The armor, though made of metal, looks like highly polished marble and feels smooth like a silky soft leather. The alloy has a hardness of 14 (diamond has a hardness of 10). His cape and the straps around his wrists look and feel like leather, sway and move like elegant silk and are nearly as strong as his armor. They are made of a special fabric of his own making and design. The entire set of armor; which includes boots, chest, pelvic and leg wear, gloves (he is currently not wearing all the parts that make up his gloves), and cape; weigh only one and a half pounds. ^\/^.

His swords are also masterfully made with a similar alloy and has the technological ability to collapse into a smaller area for easier transport. His swords, when unfolded, have varying sizes and widths with average to ridiculous lengths. The ability to fold is important due to his tendency to carry many swords for different occasions. The weight of all his swords together, made of his light weight alloys, adds only another pound to him. Along with the armor, his entire full battle gear set is only a little under two and a half pounds. When not out, Domineus Dan keeps his swords in various areas on his armor in well hidden areas and they blend well as well. At the moment, Domineus Dan has 34 swords on him. Can you spot them all?
