Mordrude's Monster Manual DTD Tutorial Pt. 1
A complete redo of my old DTD tutorial, funded by my successful (and still open) Indiegogo campaign! There are ELEVEN pieces this time, which I will compile into one page on my website for easier viewing.
I'll have to stagger my postings due to FA's 10-image flooding policy, but my Patreon supporters are viewing the other 10 parts today! If you want a sneak peek at the rest before I post it tomorrow, and at many other things (including commission slot openings and auction/sale announcements!), come be my patron!

The two-piece one was picked up at Walmart, and the one-piece I got from http://www.divers-supply.com/!
The book by itself is under the Leopard perk, which is $50. I'm anticipating around 350 pages, it'll nearly be a textbook on making realistic costumes! Printing cost is derived from page count, so I can't really be sure until I have it together how many pages it'll span. My IGG was based on 350 pages, though!
A divesuit/underarmor is worn under a suit to wick away sweat, making the wearer more comfortable and keeping the costume more clean and dry. It's win-win all around, and just in case the divesuit/underarmor slightly changes your shape (it certainly does for me, especially my saggy arms) it's best for me to have an accurate representation of the shape you will be when you're wearing the costume. It's not absolutely required, and you can certainly make one without the undersuit, but I like to say being in a hot DTD is a good representation of what it's like in a fullsuit.
Hey there, I'm getting ready to make my first DTD. I was browsing around Walmart and Home Depot today and I didn't see that brand of duct tape. They had a lot of... Scotts or Stanley I think the brand was. Is there anything that makes that brand better? Or would Stanley brand do the job?
This is just the very best quality tape I've found for the price. It has strong adhesive and a good backing. You find this stuff in the plumbing section of Home Depot! If you still can't find it, look for the heaviest duty tape you can find below Gorilla Tape, which is definitely overkill (not to mention heavy and expensive).
