Since I hate the new title for episode 7 and really hope they change it... I give you a far better title from the novels.

I'm a fan of the original trilogy only, most of the rest... They just haven't jived with me. The prequels were terrible films and I couldn't get over the clone wars animation... Not to say I don't see why folks like them, I just couldn't. The games and the books were too erratic.... But oh well. With luck the next trilogy will redeem the universe in my eyes.

UGH. No one likes the Christmas special. I didn't believe it was real until I saw it, or at least part of it. As far as me, I like the old trilogy only. The new trilogy.... I like only for the effects. Other than that...., can't say most of the star wars have hooked me. The games and books are either erratic or do things I'm not crazy about, and the Clone Wars series... I just got rubbed wrong by Asoka. :P
Just forget about the novels and games and anything else Lucas didn't have direct control over. As far as anyone should be concerned, they're dead and will never rise again. Instead, embrace the new Wars, and you will be welcomed with open arms. Even Bob Iger was impressed with it and liked how it was turning out (he stopped by the branch of Disney I work at a few weeks ago).
I don't know..... I think Lucas ruined the franchise with Episodes 1-3. Honestly, I watch them only for the eye candy. Terrible in every other category.
For me.... I like the original trilogy, Knights of the Old Republic, a handful of the books, and that's about it. Some of the video games are good, like episode III, the game.
I ignore the prequel trilogy, the clone wars series.... and the books are just too erratic to know without reading more of them, but I don't like what they did with Luke and Han's kids. :P
The new ones I will reserve judgment until I see a trailer.

I think it was, maybe a book as well. I wanted a title that sounded cool, and rather than going backwards I wanted a title that implied after the war, so Shadows of the Empire. If I do get time to do the fan project it'll probably be called Valkyries, but I may wait until after the new film to get an idea of what they're doing. I prefer to keep in line with canon as much as possible.
