there's people who have preferences on the toe count on Sonic and Sonic-like characters... canon-wise presumably they all have 3 as Milla is constantly barefoot, but personally I prefer the whole 5 fingers = 5 toes rule and there are others who seem to prefer 4... it'd just be easier to appease all three groups.
