so I'm doing this thing. someone chooses a random word and makes a journal into it, and claiming to be a writer, I scribble a few lines that is the first thing that comes to me.
I Might have used 30 minutes on this, being my first prompt so it's not very good, nor did I bother editing it...

It was kind of cool really. It was short enough where none of the characters got a chance to develop but the colorful dialogue sort of revealed its own about them. I did want to read more. Even though I know what some of that military stuff is sometimes it is cool to describe it more. It reminded me of an old friend telling stories about Vietnam. Welcome to the prompt!
