Commissioned request of a custom pony figure of the character Grell Sutclif from the anime Black Butler.

Pony base is a engineered pose from two different generation 3 ponies with the 3-D symbols. Carved the heart cutiemarks from the body of the pony via exacto blade.
Full body repaint in custom blended acrylics. Mixed flesh tone, beach comber beige gloss paint and a splash of lemon chiffon to achieve Grell’s accurate pale body color.
Eyes painted in my anime/fusion style.
Front hooves painted charcoal black for his black gloves.

Mane and tail re-rooted in dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in a custom blend of vampire kiss and cherry pie, then a solid hank of bright red candy apple.
Styled and shaped, permanently hardened in my hair gel method.

Teeth are a strip of white leather detailed in acrylic paint, glued into the pony’s mouth.

Glasses- Lenses cut from transparent pony packaging, rims painted along the edges with metallic red acrylic paint. Punched holes in each corn of the lenses with a leather puncher, red wire clamped through the holes.
String accessory of the glasses is black leather thread with beads tied into place, 2 metal skull beads and a red rose bead.

1st outfit layer- Started with the shoes. Stitched black thread for the lacing on a strip of red leather, lined lacing with black silk ribbon. Repeated same red leather for rest of shoe. Made black tips on the fronts via faux black vinyl. Used thick black leather for the soles, lined the bottom edges of shoes with the black silk ribbon.
Pants- hand stitched from a sheer neutral off-black scarf material.
White undershirt delicately hand stitched from a firm wide white ribbon (non-shiny dull side exposed), sleeves hemmed with wide white bias tape. Stitched the black silk ribbon on upper sleeves.
Vest is hand-stitched from a delicate sheer burgundy material with wide black silk ribbon stitched along the neck collar.
Finished the collar piece with a red and white striped ribbon tied into a bow.

Over coat- used a thin sheer coral red material, pleated the train of the coat. Hand-stitched a transparent black ribbon trim along the hems, collar piece and front sleeves. Stitched black buttons onto the sleeves. Wide red silk ribbon stitched down on the sleeve hems beneath the transparent black ribbon.

Scissors are 3-D thick stickers I purchased from craft store.
