I am fascinated by this development. I had no idea such a device could function on its own, without its most vital component! Yet, the observation must be made that citizens of the Empire should be quite accustomed to the idea of an important Elf functioning fully well without a tail. I am also quite perplexed as to why this valuable piece of equipment was misdelivered HERE. Clearly, judging by the markings on the case, it belongs to the Republic of Vulpitania ...
Signing false names in the hotel register is awfully close to lying, by the way. Tsk tsk, elves these days. I shouldn't be surprised if Faerie starts filling up with gaps, like a block of Swiss cheese!
