My three lovely ladies, they make everything better.
And I probably irritate the absolute shit out of them, but I practically give them their weight in treats so it all shakes out.
P.S. Those are my actual trash pajamas that I'm wearing right now. And that is my actual skunk-stripe growing back through my white hair. I look like a complete and total bum holy smokes

I do! I'll have to upload them but I was considering getting an album sort of thing or whatever else and posting pictures of stuff like Savannah and my pets/whatever other weird shenanigans I get into and putting the link on here for anyone who is interested in stuff like that ;v;
What were their names?

That's a cool idea, i'd love to see! I've had alot of mice in the past xD https://www.facebook.com/Puffspets/.....=photos_albums These have all my rodents including my mice. I'm just OCD and kept them on a separate facebook page XD
I named my female mice after food so i've had a cookie, jellybean, honey, chip. So on :)

Oh they are fantastic to have! My boy used to ride around with me on my shoulder or in my hoodie pocket, at dinner he would sit in there and Mom would sneak him pizza crust >w< it was cute because when He was on my shoulder he would chatter in my ear
I am staying with my grandparents for now until I can afford my own apartment, though I may have to move to Utah for that because the rent out here is inSANE! Like, you'd be lucky to get $800 a month out here. It's because of the miners, they make amazing money so companies take advantage of that. Which pretty much sucks for everyone else. Anywho, my gram is creeped out by rats, could talk her into the lizard but not a rat :C

They seriously are! I had no idea what to expect with them, but they are so intelligent, sweet, and full of personality. Like my three are completely different from each other in the way they react to things and their preferences on stuff like food or toys- it's so cute.
I love them!
Between mice and rats, they are the smartest rodents you can have as a pet. Which means they can learn tricks, learn their names, etc.
I think all rodents are adorable, but I love how small mice are- which means their cages won't take up too much space. And they are also social, I would suggest buying females so you can get two from the same litter and they will keep each other company. (they like to cuddle up together and chase each other around- keeps them entertained when you have to be somewhere like work or wherever else.)
They are quick, but after you handle them for about a week you'll get used to how they move and that nervousness that comes with handling them will fade. Mine never bite- and the only time one bit me (which it didn't hurt at all, just felt like something bumping into my finger) was when she was scared because I had woken her up the first week she was home by touching her. And immediately after she bit me, she put her little paw on my finger and just looked at me like 'aw shit, sorry man.'
The cages you can buy for them pretty much have everything you need for them. (A wire cage, a water bottle dispenser, a wheel, and a food cup)
And all you need to buy for them after that are things like fluff for the cage, a 'hiding house'- which is pretty much just a little plastic dome they sell in petstores that they can sleep in and feel secure, something for them to bite (there are so many options, but you can get wood blocks, a pummice stone block, etc- just find the toy section on the rodent supply isle and the world is your oyster.) and a 'critter keeper'. Which is essentially just a little plastic box with a lid that has holes in it so they can stay in there with some fluff and snacks while you clean their cages or if you have to transport them for some reason.
As for food, they have mouse mix- and you have to feed them every day and just make sure they have access to water at all times. (Mice have super high metabolisms, so they can start to starve and dehydrate if they are cut off from food and water in as little as 6 hours) But as scary as that sounds- it's never a problem. Their little water bottles are likely to hold water for almost a week before you need to fill it back up.
You can also train them to take treats from you by hand, and that's something I really enjoy doing with them because they don't bite me when I do it- like my hedgehog will do.
As for cleaning, it's recommended that you clean their cages at least once a month. I clean mine two times a month if I can get around to it- but that's just my personal preference.
Hopefully this is helpful!

Awwh! I owned two guinea pigs back when I was younger, but I never knew you could give them baths! I know with rabbits, mice, chinchillas, and hamsters you can't get them wet because of certain sicknesses that they can get from it, like wettail. But that sounds adorable ; v ;
They both did very well. It can be used as a way to make them less aggressive toward one another (they are both boys, and have some issues sometimes). Now that they both smell the same and went through it together, they get along great. We were just careful with temperatures and wrapped them in towels immediately after rinsing.
eeee I used to have four little mice, unfortunately my hubby and I had to give them away because we were moving cross country and we didn't think they would survive the drive :'c
But mice are so precious <3 they're so sweet, their whiskers are adorable, and I LOVE the way their little feet paws feel :'D
