Began this picture (in MS Paint!) in 2003... and the computer it was on... died. Recovered it this sunday (July '06), and finsihed it in "Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 7".
To prove ZIBRI (the boy on the right) was a normal greyhound once, but turned blue, white, and pink at age 13... and had a friend, but lost her (was very angry at her)... but why (about both things) is for another time. But maybe the black bird's wings and purple eyes clue you in a little bit about her, if you've been reading "Volcano"...

DA-yum. You know, when most people go through puberty, all they do is go out to Wal-Mart and buy some Clearasil and a deodorant stick.
Great work. I always like how you pay close attention to the background in your work as well as the foreground. I'm diggin' the stone temple (conspiciously absent of pilots though it may be)-- it really gives the scene sort of a "not right now" feel. Though... where, precisely, does Zibri live? Argentina? Laos? Oregon? Inquiring minds need to know!

India. An alternate universe India, that is. (I don't think there are any palm trees in Oregon except in greenhouses and malls). The girl is not from there, though.
Dogs don't really have smelly armpits as they don't really sweat... they'd be in dire need of some breathmints though.
Pilots? I was working with old linework, the temple's design has changed now, it's a bit mroe detailed.
