I love an underdog, so they've been one of my favorite forces for a while. I've FINALLY gotten to use them thanks to a combination between a decent "codex" (really wish I had an actual book :I ) and a vendor who sells them for...somewhat cheap. They've gone from $10 per model to like..$6 x3

Very nice! thats a pretty good bargain. Though the SoBs werent always the underdogs, they use to be powerhouses.

I joined at the height of 5th Edition, so I wasn't around for the Witch-Hunters era. I only got my hands on them after they were split apart and sidelined by the goddamn Grey Knights. As if I needed another reason to dislike Grey Knights :V Luckily, things seem to be kind of righting themselves. The Grey Knights are now the only thing in the Grey Knights codex, the Inquisition has its own codex, and the Sisters have their own codex. I think it's about mid-tier, kind of like the glass-cannon version of space marines, but it's super stylish (I even got my hands on an old Exorcist, not those boring Forgeworld things), and they're fun as hell, as well as tactically-rewarding x3 My first game with the new codex, I almost tabled my opponent.

I did not now they have there own codex now. Thats kinda awesome. If I can find some for a good price I might even start a SoBs army, they've always been one of my favs. Cause you can say no to a bunch of badass battle nuns?

Not unless you've got sunscreen that can withstand a flamer wielded by an angry Sister :V Also, I don't really like pewter...but god damn does a pewter army feel satisfying x3 It's just so damn heavy. My enemies will fear my girth.

I hear yah man. I still field my old pewter plaguebearers and plaguemarines. They look pretty much the same as the new ones, but just feels better

I still like pewter characters. Character models haven't come too much further as Finecast, and pewter is both cheaper and more dense x3 Though, I have a couple resin figures from Kromlech and Victoria Miniatures that are just...MMMWAH...so gorgeous <3

ugh I hate failcast, the models are way to fragile, iv lost more then my fair share of pieces from a figure that are now unrepairable without greenstuff

It's just disgusting :I Every time I've bought Finecast, I've been severely disappointed. My Imotekh has no jaw and his staff is in a "U" shape, I've got an Archon who looks like he took a shotgun blast to the gut, my friend's Sternguard all have bubbles or guns that are warped...it's just bad.

yeah finecast is just utter trash, and im happy that GW is getting rid of it finally
