You may have seen these viral things about how tough
it is to be a woman in public, being either what's considered
in the main to be sexy, or what's considered in the main to
be unsexy.
I haven't found one that highlights reactions to transgender
people, but if one were to be made, I have no doubt at all
that some complimentary catcalls and a few looks of disgust
would pale into total insignificance, compared to what
transgender people, and in particular M-to-F transgender
people, have to deal with just to be themselves.

as a reaction to watching 30 seconds of a TV show
called "Loose Women" while I was lacing my boots
this morning. It's an incredibly sexist TV show that
seems to be about demonising men, ridiculing the
imperfections of celebrities, and alienating people if
they aren't womenly women.
Especially if they're transgender.

The Loose Women function is for typical middle-aged women following the path of being a full time mother while the full time husband goes out to work each day, to have a bit of social validation that what they're doing, and the way they feel about men, is the correct way to be. Pacification rather than liberation.
It's horrible.
