paranoidnikki who recently got a new job! The night shift is pretty rough, though, and he's been having trouble with his, uh, co-workers...
So, yes, it finally happened, I had to draw Five Nights at Freddy's art. Lots of people kept saying how surprised they were that I hadn't, which was weird, as a) it's not like I spend a lot of time drawing fan art, and b) the game wasn't even that good.
Still, I was happy to do this one, and I think the shading really came out great.

It's definitely a prequel.
And before you say "But there's the old animatronics!"
The Phone guy mentioned they had an old place "Fredbear's Diner", which is not the FNAF1 place (Freddy's Pizzeria), that had those old ones. They decided to uese them for parts for the new ones, which were scrapped due to malfunctions, and they kept the old ones for "Future organizations", which, will be FNAF1's place. The ending of night 6 clearly outlines this.
there's also the check which says 1987, the bite of 87.

Legally that is only valid if they are shown to have taken appropriate measures to curb any danger. If they made an effort to prevent danger, then they cant be at fault legally. Even if they made it into a contract government agencies can shut them down for "unsafe and hazardous working environment" under labor laws.
They’re actually fine with kids; the prequel reveals that
SPOILER
Freddy actually wanted to save the kids who were murdered (probably by the day guard) but couldn’t make it on time, and now the animatronics are resentful and extra-suspicious adults and/or guards in general. (Or something along those lines. The game is a bit fuzzy on the details, but it’s clear that they’re friendly towards kids, especially since they have the spirits of dead children inside them.)

FNAF is one of those instances where people like the concept more than the game. Not to mention there's room for loads of speculations and theories. Maybe that's why there's so much art about it.
It's a rather strange enimga of a game that got popular due to its subject rather than its gameplay (although its not likely the first game that accomplished such a thing).
