I hope you get my feeling about this pic' (as offline message on Yahoo).
I do like those pictures, they're kinda sad but just awesome in the time and saying so much with only one "frame.
For some reasons, they do fit me too I think, though I'm not trying to compare myself with you.

That... is too imbressive... but... *holds up little spray bottle and squirts* Stop it... Bad Tora.. Bad bad Tora.... You no UNloved... *spray spray* Bad Tora... 0.o... *taking spray bottle and spritzing in mouth* ... *smacks lips and starts spraying in mouth* Mmmmm.. Water!
Gah, finally I remember to comment! ^^;
Sorry it took so long babe. I kept thinking 'I'll do that when I'm not so tired' or something, and then I'd be in bed and remember I'd not commented yet.
Anyway... I think I know how you feel, somewhat. I know I miss seeing you every day like when I was at Uni. I'm sure this isn't all about me, tho. *sighs and cuddles*
Anyway, picture. I really like the use of horizon in this picture. It gives it a feeling of... depth, I guess, without having to fill in distracting background detail. And at the same time you have enough background detail to set show the setting.
I think the hair shading came out nicely, and I like how you hair a hair band in. Not something you usually see. Well done on the head at that angle, by the way. I dunno if I could do that. < o.o > I guess maybe I need to try some time.
Another thing I really like is the tail. I'm not sure why, it just looks particularly detailed and fluffy...
Other than that, the pose is really well done, and of course the shading is great. The fact that even the light areas have dark streaks to show the cones of light is a nice touch. You really are amazing sweetie, and always getting better. I don't know if I've ever said how much I admire that. <3

That's some insane shading you did here. I hope I'm not saying this the wrong way, but any drawing you do fueled by any emotion always seems to show such detail, such effort.
It may not be my place to say this, but it's good to have those bad feelings and express it. It makes cherishing your good feelings all the more valued...or maybe only your character and not you (the artist) feels alone right now?
