(GENERIC BACKGROUND IS GENERIC. Also, I suck at cell shading.)
Here's a completed version of another sketch done by my good friend over on deviantArt, SilentSoulAri for another friend over there. (sketch found here: http://fav.me/d8613aw ) Two possible ideas for this picture:
1: Seems to me like Sonic and Tails were enjoying a nice nap, Tails even kicking his shoes off to relax, and someone managed to ambush and bind/gag the poor fox, and his mmphh-ing for Sonic to help him is only annoying the hedgehog as he tries to continue his nap.
2: Sonic was trying to enjoy a nice rest and Tails kept going on about one of his new inventions, so Sonic decided on more extreme measures to obtain some peace and quiet. And he probably left Tails barepawed/tied his toes because he knows his little buddy's feet are deathly ticklish.
