A great dish from
!
I've started using my scraps for my collection of food porn so
get redy 4 th flud
This meal is gluten and carb free. Neat!
* Baked spaghetti squash
* Tomato sauce with spinach, yellow peppers, mushrooms, and onion.
* Hamburger meatballs made from scratch with oregano, thyme, and basil from my garden.
* topped with fresh parmesan cheese yum
RECIPE
You will need:
* 1 spaghetti squash
* whatever sauce you want!
* hamburger meat
* parmesan cheese
* oregano, thyme, basil, salt and pepper
* spinach, mushrooms, onion, bell pepper (optional)
* oil
For the "spaghetti":
1) go to the store and buy a spaghetti squash. they look like a big yellow oval melon usually next to the zucchini.
2) preheat the oven to 400, wrap a baking pan in foil and spray some cooking oil on it.
3) cut the squash in half, lengthwise. This part is actually annoying. cutting it in half is the hardest part lmao
4) scoop ALL the seeds/stringy goo out of each half. it's kind of like pumpkin insides.
5) put the two halves face down on the pan and bake for 35 minutes.
DONE
then you take a fork and just scoop out the meat. it'll divide into neat strings as you do so. UvU
For the meatballs:
mix and mash the hamburger meat, herbs, Parmesan cheese (whatever amount you want to use) together.
put a little olive or canola oil in the pan and heat.
roll your hamburger meat into balls and place in the pan, cooking until brown all the way through and a little crisp on the outsides.
Optional:
Chop and saute the spinach, mushrooms, onion and bell pepper in a pan until cooked through.
Finally:
Take your meatballs, veggies and sauce of choice and put all that stuff on your spaghetti squash!
Top with Parmesan and enjoy! and since the noodles are actually carb free squash, feel free to get seconds! <3
