A cat with psi powers...... What else can you say about them? Well, they wanted to try capturing James to study him and have him be part of their citizens in their planet. Probably even brainwash the human hero and make him believe to always live with the alien felines and let them take care of him. These cats wanted different kinds of people from other planets to make a bigger civilization full of different kinds of people in their planet and have other species/race completely depend on them. Strange, huh?
