As a previous weapons troop, I can tell you that loading munitions on the B-52 is a lot of work! Initial Certification last for more than a month, and a MRPL at load barn is a week long.
Each month, a load crew is required to do a MRPL which is basically a proficiency load.

The B-52 is the aircraft I nearly gave myself a concussion on. Banged my skull on the underside of the beast no less than four times in the space of an hour and a half; the last time, I busted my lip on one of those huge tires as I was checking the brakes for wear - then I reflexively jerked back and cracked the back of my head on the landing gear door.
The next time we went out to work on it (the only B-52 the 450th TS had at the time), my colleagues jokingly checked out a hard hat. And I wore it. And it helped - banged my head again, but didn't try to kill myself.
