I should have it completed by middle of next year.My best friend was supposed to help me build this, but before we could start on it he passed away so I am dedicating this gun to him

that's pretty close to what i want to get
except i want to get two
left & right versions
and attempt to train myself to duel wield them, it'll take alot of practice but i'll do it!
also i want lasers on mine, red on the right green on the left so i know what one is aiming where
I like the engraving and the a2 dovetail on the back... other than that (shrug) I'm a traditionalist

The .45 Colt Combat Commander was purchased brand new by my father somewhere around 30 years ago.
had (he claims) two mags put through it, then was put in a safe till I bought it last year
I got the Colt, a loading jig with 5 sets of dies (various calibers), all associated equipment, 1000 rounds of brass, and 400 rounds of ammo for $400
the ONLY thing I plan on changing is adding a dovetail to the back of it like what you got on yours.
now, I am NOT saying that's not a VERY nice pistol you have/making... but I'm cheap (shrugs)
