This was two neutral density (very dark) filters, and one dark blue one.
I honestly didn't think this was even a picture when I saw it in the folder, there was just black and a few streaks.
I brought the exposure up and black levels up a little and it looks friggin amazing.
So I decided to toss it up here, May do more like this only leaving the shutter open longer once I get my programmable release in the mail, I really like how it came out and it would have come out like this without adjustments if I just left the shutter open for another 20 or so seconds.
The sun really blasted off those falls through the filter, I really am digging using the filters with digital SLRs more than with the 35mms.
Easier and more fun to see the results on the spot, and make adjustments on the field.

Thanks! It was so damn cold out lol and I was kneeling in mud, it kinda sucked actually there was a lot of branches in the way I was holding back from the shot with my head and arm lol.
Took a bunch of different bracketed shots with different filters to see what worked out best. Wound up getting a bunch of neat results :)

Yeah thats what stopped me yesterday, it was so cold, and I was driving by these falls again.
From another angle they look even crazier, but to get there is like a walk up the road and across some rocks and an island in the river...
It was so cold that I got half way up the path and turned around.
On the way back, I stopped there again got about as far and said "ya know, i already got shots of this... its waaaay too cold for this."
Guess I'll just wait till spring lol
