As my latest 'sweeps month' (November, 2014) continues, I've decided to finally get around to doing something I'd postponed for a long time: presenting 'colorized' versions of some of the black-and-white gags I'd presented in my early years at "Fur Affinity"...
This first 'colorized encore', entitled "Dragon At Airport", was originally posted during my first year in "FA" (2007-2008), and you can still see the original black-and-white version of this gag at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/980872/
Originally drawn in 2005 (on a 4"x6" index card), I'd imagined what it would be like to have a dragon at a municipal airport, paging someone with a sign, just like the two human chauffeurs standing next to him...
In addition to adding colors (and shadows for the three main characters), I had made a few minor changes to the artwork. For instance, I had removed the passenger jet that was deemed too close to the tower, and replaced it with another plane, seen much further in the background. Aldo, I'd used my Paint.net program to make the text on the "Flight Arrivals" sign to look more legitimate.
In the weeks ahead, I hope to present more 'colorized encores'. And, of course, any 'feedback' is always welcome.
