I've never seen a rose blushing before 8D omg lookit, it's going all like this:

You could have had his eyes squinted and glossy, holding a picture tightly to his chest, as if he were huging the loved one, but the hair works if you're going for the whole emo look. The rose works well for symbolizing love, a locket or pocket watch would work well for the memory of the decessed and the time that you shared or could have shared. A spot light shining down on him would make it look like he felt all alone in his grief. LOVE his ears by the way.

There's a lot of stuff I could've done with this but I wasn't really experienced (or clever) enough back then to even think of what you suggested.

It's so embarrassing looking back on these pictures, especially all the generic teenage angst pictures. I've a lot since these pictures were posted...when I look back at them it's like I'm looking at a complete stranger.
