I've always been a big decapitation fan, even as a kid, and the toonier the better! I loved in Labyrinth when the Fierys looked like they were having a blast taking their heads off and rolling them all around. I love when characters can just casually take themselves apart with no pain or permanence. I'm sure I could come up with all SORTS of ways to creatively abuse such an ability if I had it. ;)
Anyway, I felt like drawing the beautiful brown-furred Mrs. Brisby again and thought she'd look cute cradling her noggin. I messed up her feet again though. Blast!

Yikes! She has to wear her red cape tighter now. Still this kind of reminds me of my brother's really early "adult" fanart. Drawing his fav character's head, and then putting them on a nude torso he wanted, xerox, then color. When he finally got his hands on a scanner and Photoshop, his gallery quadrupled.
Well, in my Casper fan-fic, CASPER IN WONDERLANDA, meant to be a sequel to the Lewis Carroll classic, he is beheaded by the Queen of Hearts. It is painful, as it was not voluntary. But he was able to give directions to his body, much like the scene in ALL YOU CAN EAT where the cooked Bartelby & Xander give commands to the body of the mouse kid, while his head is having a conversation with two flamboyant gays. They get so carried away with commanding this body that they almost forget that they are on buffet duty.
Anyway, Casper walks off with his head under his arm -and thus sets off a RIOT in the Court of Coeur. The story is in my peak period of fan-fic-writing. I have since succumbed to a lasting burn-out...
