The bridge of that battleship looks close to a Salamis-class or something manufactured by the Earth Federation.

Salamis... that's a new one to me, and there's so many "Earth Federations" in different anime/manga/something that I have no idea what the series those are could be :b

Mobile Suit Gundam. I think there are also Salamis-class in Gundam-F91...anywho, they did have starfighters in the Gundam series, so it would make sense to be launching these.

damn, and it had to be one of my most favourite anime too :b haven't seen any of the original series, only Wing, SEED and SEED Destiny so far... going to get some more as soon as I find them... ^^'

I haven't seen any of the originial myself, only five episodes of Wing, Endless Waltz movie, and one episode of SEED. But I know more about the mobile suits and basic minovsky physics than quite a few of the "hardcore" fans do.
