"..There are no strings on me."
Violins are my favorite instrument, with piano coming in as a close second. Seven's colors were designed to be a mix of multiple like-colored things that I dig, with violins being 1000% a part of that. (Fire, Autumn Colors, Jack Daniel's, Lionfish, Violins, Sunsets (esp. Sunsets on a beach), etc etc.)
However, in the winter she has her spiffy new graytone colors. But I didn't want her to just poof into them. So I used Arctic Foxes as inspiration for her coat turning in patches/patterns until it reaches a 'full pelt' color.
I've also been listening to a LOT of Lindsey Stirling recently, as well as this song. I love the violin bits in the song, but the words/message/situation in the song is kind of ridiculous in a sad kind of way to me. BUT HEY, EVERYBODY HAS THEIR THING.
Oh and for update purposes- I've been being a dip and not icing my wrist lately, so drawing (and flexing my right hand in general) is kinda painful.
I've been doodling my own things because I felt like I wasn't in the best place to work on commissions, but y'know- with those kind of things you just have to suck it up and try. So I've gone ahead and traditionally drawn several of the commissions from my queue and uploaded them into Photoshoops.
I'm going to be icing my wrist after I upload this for at least 30, and while she hasn't texted me back with the time, I'm supposed to be meeting with Ashley and Miles later today to say goodbye to Miles and give them a family portrait I painted up.
POINT IS-- For comms, expect some work done and tossed up on here over the weekend. And if all goes well, the pattern will continue and I'll get back in the groove.
THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING AWESOME AND PATIENT AND ERRYTHING ILUALL.

mice to see the fur mixing into winter colours! looks great! I think you said on one of your other pics that it's hard to get it across your mind that it's her winter coat not a black and white filter and lol I agree it kinda throws me when I see her in her winter coat and very few colours dotted here and there, but I like it! makes it really bold and different
