Scrawled up in flash in like 20 minurts. Just me adding some wood for the drama fire! Srsly tho, I wasn't even aware of the FAP until a little while ago. I wasn't on it myself, simply on the grounds that it's enough that I have to take care of two galleries already(This one and DevArt) I haven't the energy for me to go through the whole process on a new site, just re-posting old crap again.
I'm really not one for saying Gallery Site "X" sucks and Gallery site "Y" is better, but not enough people like Y over X, etc. I really think that it's pointless to complain or argue over the tiny details in the functions on a site you can use for free. I just try to enjoy using it and just avoid drama, except in cases where I mock it with half-assed drawings like this one.

I'll bet he did it to dodge the drama. I would've. I remember when SheezyArt changed their policy to "porn allowed" to "no porn allowed", and it was a total clusterfuck of drama. The members were all like, "You suck! We're leaving!" And the admins were all "Fine! Leave! Who needs you? Good riddance! You won't be missed!" Then the members were all like, "Fine!" and the admins were all like, "FINE!" And I just walked away, in utter contempt of the immaturity of both parties.
LOL! I never really paid much attention to Sheezyart's drama or whatever went on there. x3 But this guys excuse for closing FAP was that he didn't feel like it was "fun" anymore to run the site after 2 years of running it and wanted to work on other projects, so he was just going to get rid of FAP. Which I think is a totally douche move, he could hand off the site to someone else who wants to keep it up, or at least do something to appease the masses instead of "Ok, this isn't fun, bye."
I surely hope so. I had a trade going before he took it down and I had to dig through my massive amount of image files to find the artists name I was doing it with so I could find a way to contact them. That's the one thing that irked me, I lost contact with so many people and now I have no way to figure out who they were. =x..x= I'm no good remembering names.
I really need to adopt a system like that. I am also anti-social and shy, until recently I have been quiet and now I have been responding to a lot of journals and pictures and meeting new people. Heh I don't have any fancy Spongebob book though. x3 *giggles some* I don't use my myspace, I have too many people bugging me to "pimp it out" and I don't want to. x3

Ah man....this was a move a lot of people can't believe happen. Its more funny, cause the guy that shut it down doesn't really care much. Like he said, he just turns off the computer and walks away happy like. but sites come and go, its a cycle and yea this drawing just made me go "OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! so true!" |D
