OMG!

Everyone thinks the Duke Nukem Forever team is stupid when they say shit like "it'll be done when its done."

But they're still getting paid to make a game that doesn't exist. The only actual work they do involves creating shitty trailers every year or so.

Seeing the E3 Duke Nukem trilogy trailer convinced me that the whole thing is a ruse, and they're waiting for us all to catch on :-m

they're just having fun with the industry, because that's how they roll. Remember that 3drealms is essentially the old Apogee team, and they're their own management and haven't turned into an uberhuge publisher like most of the other guys ended up doing. They mostly develop, and god only knows where their money comes from (licensing?)

Anyway, they have something that most pro companies don't have the leisure to have, and that's time. Time to let their ideas work themselves out how their designers want, and not how management wants. If 3dr was run like EA, you'd have had 10 duke nukems by now, and they'd all suck!

They can take all the time they like in my books, but the longer they take, the more I'll expect the game to blow my socks off when it does finally surface, if it ever does.

Or at least that they make a different game with all that cash they're making, sheesh.
