-WAAAAAAAAH!-

She was rudely shoved apart, bouncing painfully on her butt a couple of times before coming to a stop against a wall.

-Ow ow ow…- She rubbed her throbbing backside, making sure that her designer’s skirt was not damaged, then sprang up on her suede high heeled boots shaking her platinum mane with anger.

-Who dares to push me like that?!- She yelled outraged -No one dares to shove Argenta Volpe like that!-

And then she fell silent.

In front of her in the deserted street, two huge and blazing humanoid figures were rounding a smaller one, they look like made of what seemed to be burning coal, red hot cracks glowing in the dark all over their grotesque bodies as they moved their long apeish arms trying to seize their smaller human opponent as it moved with extreme agility but they were two and suddenly one caught the small one with a terrible backhanded smash that sent it flying right to the wall behind her!

-Wendy?!- Astounded she recognized her black haired classmate.

-Hey Ary- The brunette stood up cleaning blood from her lips -Stay aside-

And she ran back into the fight!

-Wait! Don’t do that! We have to escape!- She watched Wendy deliver two mighty kicks to one of them only for the other to grab her by the leg -No!-

She watched helplessly how the burning creatures tried to pummel Wendy but though dangling from one leg she moved like a fish avoiding their huge fists, however she would not resist much longer.

-Oh my...Wendy…- Ary was too frightened and surprised to do something, what could she do if she was just a girl?

-You have to help her!- A tiny, stern voice trumpeted in her ear and she fell back on her butt, surprised.

-Waaaah!- She shrieked again before the tiny ball of blue flames appeared dancing in front of her, a cute wolfish face looking at her.

-You have to help her!- The ball repeated -Help Wendy!-

-Bu...bu...but how...?-

-Your pendant! Hold it aloft and say ‘Star Power charge up’!-

-What?!- Her hand pulled from her bosom the sapphire star her grandmother had given her years ago -Are you kidding?-

-Hurry!!- The tiny ball fretted up and down looking at the still fighting brunette -She needs you!-

-Okay!- Ary got up and held the crystalline star up and yelled -Star Power charge up!-

Immediately a strong wind rose swiping papers and debris from the street, freezing momentarily the burning monsters thus giving Wendy a break; Ary felt herself being snatched up by the wings and the chill of the wind when her expensive clothes vanished!

-Heeey!- She yelled annoyed before going stiff, her pendant shining in front of her like a real star flew to her chest and attached to it -Aaaah!-

She felt energy, the raw energy of hundreds of stars flowing through her body and from the blue crystal dozens of rays of light shot out and around her body encasing and protecting it, a a top and bottom formed on her body along with gloves and boots, her disheveled mane straightened in a cascade of platinum blonde. With a flash the change was complete.

-Woa!- The wind let her go and Ary landed on high heels, only her agility held her up -What’s all this?-

She inspected her new attire, the bodysuit accented her curves like a glove made of silver satin, a cyan lace bow adorned her chest held by her now large sapphire star, her modesty was preserved by a silver mini skirt with a fringe of sapphire stars that were around the border of her white high heeled, knee high boots and the choker around her neck.

-This is strange…- She said feeling the silver fur linings around the silver gloves, present on the suit’s cuffs and back, the starry sailor collar made her frown but the golden belt around her waist look very nice; she guffawed sycophantically with a hand over her mouth.

-Hohohoh! I look great!-

-Hurry!- The little flaming ball rushed to her -Help her!-

-Oh, right!- Thoughtlessly Ary sprinted towards the fighters that had continued the fight.

-And watch for your tail! Don’t let them burn you!- The ball added from behind.

-Sure! Wait what?!- Turning around she saw a long silver furred tail swishing with her strides -OMG!-

But the monsters had saw her and one tried to sweep her up too, Ary found herself flying in mid air from a single jump!

-Woa!- She exclaimed in happy surprise, then from within her came another exclamation -Shooting Stars!-

On her hands twin clouds of tiny lights appeared and then she shove them forward, pelting the burning golems with hundreds of shooting lights, they rumbled annoyed at first before roaring in pain as the lights broke their rough coal-like skin, crumpling parts of their bodies while they tried uselessly to avoid the attack, that’s when Wendy sprung back to action.

-Silver claws!- She yelled from her precarious upside down one-legged position aiming a swipe with her claws that raked deeply the chest of the one holding her, it roared loudly and crumbled into a pile of burning ash.

-Finish the other!- Wendy shouted to the blonde as she fell to the ground -Kick it on the head!-

-Comet kick!- Ary howled landing a perfect heel smash to the head of the last one that pulverized into ash without a sound.

-Perfect…- Exhausted, Wendy let herself fall on the curb, sat with her arms over her knees -Well done, Ary?-

-Wendy? Are you okay?-

-What are you doing here? And how’s that you’re dressed like me?-

-I can explain- The blue flame ball came hovering over them -She’s your new partner-

-Say again?! Blackie you’re kidding!-

-What’s that?- Ary inquired seeing the wolfish dancing spirit.

-That’s like, uhm… my familiar spirit, he’s the reason I’m dressed like this, and now you too- Wendy said tiredly, scratching one of her furry ears -Saving the world from bad guys and things like that, y’know?-

-Bad guys… those things?- Then she realized what the brunette was doing -What happened to your ears?!-

-Same as yours, lookin’ good tho’- Wendy smiled wickedly from under her fringe of white hair.

-WHAT?!- Ary’s hands flew up to feel her own, silver furred canine ears -Are you fucking kidding me?!!-

-C’mon, we have to talk-

And the blonde followed her black haired friend and the little blue spirit, still touching one of her ears and whimpering as she did so.
