Dusty treasures – introduction

Not so long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a wolf, unlike any you have ever seen, joined a group of space pirates. Well, he saved them, and they let him come along. There were seven people now, well, five if you think droids aren’t people. Himself, Syber, Theresa, Spyro, Clyde, Wheels, Junkbot and Brick.

The wolf was called Dusty, he’s a lupanian, and is trained in most kinds of weaponry, as is a lupanian tradition. Despite this, he rather avoids fighting if possible and sneaks past hostiles. Dusty met the pirates on a wasteland planetoid where he was scavenging a shipwreck. When he came back outside, he saw the pirates being attacked by tentacle creatures that seemed to erupt from the ground and Dusty decided to save the pirates.

Syber was a technan, which is a dragon-like race that had mastered technology, and used this to enhance their bodies. That probably explains why some parts of his black scales seem to glow with electric circuits. And his left eye was replaced by a high-tech sensor that allows hin to hack computers by merely looking at them!

And then there’s Spyro, none of the crew is sure what he is, but he sure can be hotheaded, in both ways. When he sets himself ablaze he is able to throw massive fireballs and the heat doesn’t do anything to his charred skin.

Clyde is the captain and pilot of the ship and a master gambler. Everyone on the ship can fly better than the captain, but he doesn’t allow it. “This is MY ship, don’t you dare touch that panel!” he yells when he is asked about it. But he probably won the ship during a game pf space-poker.

And wheels… Wheels probably isn’t his real name, but everyone calls him that because his lower body was replaced by a rocket system and a pair of wheels after he got shot during a war on his planet.

Theresa is someone of an unpronounceable race, but she can shoot bolts of lightning from her hands. Her ‘hair’, if that’s what you can call it, is a swirling mass of shadows. She is the most sneaky and shady member of the crew.

The dynamic duo of Junkbot and Brick is a whole story apart. Junkbot used to be a jackpot machine back in its day. But then someone made him into a Texan-accented robot with pocket dimensions. He talks… A lot! That’s why his voicebox was removed several times, but the crew can’t do without him, since he can appraise anything you throw into him.
Brick, on the other hand, is a big, bulky, dumb battledroid equipped with almost every kind of weapon system one can imagine. And for the fun of it, an ice cream cannon! He also has a soft spot for kitties and anything else furry, snuggly and fuzzy.
